Making Jackson a better place to live, work and learn

Why do Jackson Village residents pay more in property taxes than other municipalities?      Jackson Village property taxes are the highest of any municipality in Washington Co.  My goal is to reduce taxes to at least the average of other municipalities in Washington Co.

Are there cost saving opportunities in our Village government so our leaders can be more fiscally responsible?      Our Village Board should consider more refurbishing and reconditioning rather than replacing Village assets.  The best way to reduce costs is to change HOW you perform work.

Can we work more closely with our Jackson area business leaders to promote the Jackson community?      Our Greater Jackson Business Alliance is made up of a diverse group of business leaders that do business among each other and with our Jackson area residents. We need to strengthen this resource to market the benefits of doing business in Jackson and bring more tax base to our Village.

What happened to our Jackson school discussion after our referendum?      Our Village Board needs to resurrect discussions and represent us to the West Bend School District perhaps using the West Bend School District Private Task Force report as a jumping off point for further discussions.
